Explanation of Al-Aqeedat Al-Waasitiyyah:

Shaykh al Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) documented the creed of the Ahl as-Sunnah Wal-Jamaah in response to the creed of the judges among the scholars of Wasit. Qaadee Radiyud-Deen al-Waasitiy (rahimahullah) had asked the shaykh to write a concise piece, which will help guide his household and other dependents upon the right path in the face of widespread innocations and its people at the time.
